Zeynep and Jarn’s wedding at Scheunentraum Eventlocation in Aachen was the kind of celebration that felt both deeply moving and joyfully fun. With Turkish traditions, Dutch energy, a creative vegan menu, and plenty of personal touches, the day unfolded in a way that was authentic to the couple and unforgettable for their guests.

  • The bride’s shoe soles marked with her single friends’ names — the first to fade during dancing said to be “next to marry.”( I might or might have not have added my name there as well :D)

  • The playful foot-stepping ritual, where the bride and groom try to step on each other’s shoe to determine “who will have the last word.”

  • A lively cake-cutting tradition, where the couple pretended they couldn’t cut the cake until relatives gave money to “help.”

Jarn's a dark green groom's suit that complemented the surrounding nature and looked incredible against the warm brick tones of the barn. The rich color made him stand out in a stylish yet understated way, and together with Zeynep, the portraits felt like they belonged perfectly to the place.

Not only did he sing it beautifully, but he also adapted the lyrics especially for her, turning the moment into something deeply personal.
