We’ve planned a beach photoshoot … but the Scottish weather had other ideas. 🌧️
Cristina and I arrived at Gullane Beach just as the rain started pouring, so we waited in the car for about 30 minutes, hoping it would pass. Eventually, we thought, “let’s just head back to Edinburgh, maybe we’ll find some sun there.”

And guess what? On the way back, we stumbled upon the most beautiful beach, bathed in golden light peeking through the clouds. 🌤️ The colors were incredible, some plants perfectly matched Cristina’s dress, and to top it all off—we even got a rainbow. 🌈

In the end, the detour turned out to be the best part, giving us moody, cinematic shots that I absolutely love. ✨

Last week I have attended a wedding in Germany that felt less like work and more like being wrapped into someone else’s beautiful story.

Zeynep and Jarn brought their Turkish and Dutch roots together in the most wholesome and joyful way.
The day had everything: happy tears, singing in Turkish, epic dancing, a dress that didn’t survive the party 😅, and food I’ll be dreaming about for weeks.

Here’s a little glimpse into that day - an emotional, love-soaked celebration I won’t forget.

And not only them, but also their families and friends welcomed me with so much kindness, they looked after me over the day, and they constantly express words of gratitude and appreciation for my work. It rained on and off all day, but nothing could dim the warmth of this wedding. @realandyking & @craigmcblain brought so much heart to their day at Killochan Castle and I felt lucky to be behind the lens for every part of it.

From the thoughtful details and meaningful vows to the sword-cutting of the cake and a ceilidh led by the @redhotchillipipers, it was impossible not to get swept up in the energy of it all. The wedding party was a dream to be around—kind, funny, full of love—and made the whole day feel like a celebration in the truest sense.

I had spotted this poppy field days earlier from a bus ride through the countryside. We returned together with Robi, knowing it was the perfect place to mark her 30th birthday.
