Tuscany in Spring: A Dream Come True
I’ve always dreamed of photographing a wedding in Tuscany — and this year, in March, that dream became a reality. Tuscany in spring is like stepping into a fairytale. Everything is lush and green. The light is soft and tender, and the air feels fresh and inviting. It felt like the perfect place to not only capture love but to truly connect with it.

Storytelling through Photography: Alina’s Theory Session
Before we picked up our cameras, we had an insightful theory session led by Alina. Her insights were just what I needed. She reminded us that photography goes beyond capturing images. It’s about telling a story, preserving emotions, and nurturing connections. Alina’s wisdom served as a warm guide. It helped us all focus on the deeper meanings within our work.
The Importance of Connection
Connection is vital in photography. When we understand the narratives behind our subjects, our images become more profound. A photograph is not just an image; it’s a moment frozen in time, holding emotions and stories. Alina emphasized that this understanding enhances our creativity and the quality of our work. As a wedding photographer in Tuscany, I find that the strongest images often come from deeply felt moments.
The Shoot at Tenuta il Cicalino
As we started shooting at Tenuta il Cicalino, the atmosphere was enchanting. This venue oozed rustic charm, almost like a scene from a dream. However, it was Giada and Marcello, with their playful yet powerful love, that truly made everything come alive. Each moment between them felt authentic, reminding me why I love wedding photography in Tuscany. This landscape beautifully captures real emotions.
A Sweet Pause: Tiramisu & Shared Moments
Before moving on to our next location, we took a moment to savor something truly special. We indulged in a tiramisu wedding cake that was unforgettable. Its creamy, rich flavor was simply perfection. However, what truly made this moment memorable was the sense of connection around the table. Photographers, vendors, and creatives gathered together, sharing stories and laughter. These moments of togetherness remind us of the beauty of slowing down and being present.
Trash-the-Dress in Massa Marittima: Fog & Romance
After our sweet pause, we ventured to Massa Marittima for a trash-the-dress session. The magic continued as fog rolled in, creating an ethereal glow around the town. It was a photographer's dream. Walking through narrow, romantic alleys with the fog enveloping us felt like we stepped into a movie scene. Everything was quiet, intimate, and just a little mysterious. The mist, the ancient beauty of the town, and the fog combined to create a magical atmosphere.
The Heart of It All: Gratitude for the People Behind the Magic
This workshop was more than a chance to capture stunning images. It reminded me how much I value the creative community I'm part of. Sanela, who organized this entire experience, has a beautiful heart. She brought everything together with great care and attention to detail. The vendors were simply amazing. From florals to makeup, every detail was thoughtfully created, enhancing the day’s beauty.
And the photographers? I feel lucky to have worked alongside such talented, kind-hearted individuals. We laughed, shared tips, and supported one another to improve our skills. It was one of those rare experiences when everyone is just in it together. That’s something I will always cherish.

A Wedding Photographer in Tuscany: Let’s Create Your Story
I left Tuscany with a full heart and deep gratitude for the workshop and the wonderful people I met. If you're dreaming of an intimate, authentic wedding in Italy, or if you're planning an elopement in Tuscany, I would be honored to tell your story. I believe in capturing love in its most genuine and beautiful form — in the quiet moments, raw emotions, and small details that make everything feel like it’s been plucked from a dream.
If you want your wedding photos to feel as real and romantic as your love story, let's make it happen.
